Ms. Murphy's Class: "Count On Me'" JUNIOR MUSIC SHOWCASE Song (January 31)

 Hello parents!

One of the main ways that we can make music theory relevant for our younger learners is to link it to music that they may hear in their everyday lives. Our music showcase this year is inspired by Jimmy Fallon's excellent band "The Roots". We will be taking hit songs, learning the rhythms that underpin them, and arranging them for classroom instruments. You'll see your kids playing various instruments, singing, and managing multi-part arrangements of some very well-known songs. 

Ms Murphy's class will be representing male pop icons, with Bruno Mars' classic hit about friendship "Count On Me".
